As @Stiletto mentioned tho, from 4/5 months of testing the safest follow limit seemed to be 200. It is possible to achieve 800 follows per day, but that is under ideal conditions and isn't sustainable long-term.
The build-in operations have these limits:
Follow: 200
Like: 500
Unfollow: 1000
These limits are safe as long as you space them out a bit and don't go overboard.
