I tried indexing like 6 pages back to back, now GSC is showing this error: Oops something went wrong we had a problem submitting your indexing request please try again later.. Am I screwed now? How can I fix it? Do I just wait? Have any of you encountered this problem?

Give it some time, GSC glitches can resolve on their own. If it persists, try resubmitting gradually or use Fetch as Google for individual pages.

Thanks. I'll give it a week before I try again. I've heard this happens when you use the index tool too frequently. Some people claim it takes 4 weeks to resolve. Hope it's shorter than that.

This normally happens when the indexing service is busy or if you submitted many pages in a short span of tiime. Just give time and it will be resolved or try again later
