Is it a good idea to do on site optimization before I build links/launched my site or should I do it later when the site is alreayd at least one month old?

Kinda afraid Google has algo to filter new sites that is highly optimized.

    Thanks :)

Depends what type of onsite optimization you plan on doing. Generally meta/title tags/headings are ok and recommended. Cloaking is a big no-no unless you really know what you are doing.

Google will have a go at sites with high keyword density (suggested value is 3% - 5%).
