Hi mates.. I tried to put some basic points to be considered to know the basics of SEO.

I have been in a confusion when i started my seo for my website. I dont know where to start as there is a ton of information here..

Hope this could help the newbie's to get started from the step 1 to build their seo

The first thing you have to do is

    Onpage Optimization

    1. HTML Tags (opening and closing properly)
    2. Code Structure (To permit easy portabiligy)
    3. Title Optimization (Optimize it with your main keyword)
    4. Internal Linking Structure (Build an internal linking campaign)
    5. Meta Tags Optimization (Make sure that you make a complete research when making meta tags)
    6. Alt Attributes (use alt attributes for images, area, input and wherever needed)

Keyword Optimization & Synonyms (Determining Your Most Relevant Keywords)
    Image and Link Optimization

    Dont's while choosing keyword:

    1. Choose a specific keyword but dont try any popular keyword

    2. Analysis and evaluate your competition before you choose the keyword. Dont try for a high competitive keyword.

    3. Using variants in keyword would be more effective

    4. Don't ever Pick Single Word Phrases

    Offpage Optimization

    1. Competitive Analysis (Analyze your competitor properly - His backlinks, keyword optimization and so on)
    2. Keyword research (Research your keyword properly)
    3. Search Engine Submission
    4. Link Building
    5. Directory Submission
    6. Forum Submission

    Overall Ranking Algorithm:

    24% - Trust/Authority of the Host Domain

22% - Link Popularity of the Specific Page

20% - Anchor Text of External Links

    15%
    - On-Page Keyword Usage

    7% - Traffic and Click-Through Data

    6% - Social Graph Metrics

5% - Registration and Hosting Data

Hope this would help Our BHW Community. :listen:
