Onlywire safe - post-penguin?

Like most people here, all my sites took a nose-dive after the penguin update, so now I have to rework the way I have been doing SEO - namely not blasting my money site with excessive anchor texts using software like AMR, BMD and being careful with directory submissions, comment posting, blah blah blah.

What's crazy is that 25 of the new domains I purchased before penguin are now ranking on page 1, some even on position 3, even though they have absolutely NO CONTENT on them. Yep, just a blank and empty wordpress site. So EMDs are obviously in - hooray! However, another 25 (I bought a total of 50) are nowhere to be found, meaning the algorithm only hits certain niches.

Anyway, these are all micro-sites with long tail keywords, roughly getting 1000-4000 visits globally. Now, while I build these suckers up, I also want to build one, high-authority site, which leads me to my question:

Do you think it's safe to use Onlywire on the new posts of the authority site I want to build? I obviously won't do it for the micro-niche sites since they are already ranking, but what about on a new site using an 11-year old domain with quality, hand-written content, and smart on-page SEO using low keyword density articles, many LSI keywords, safe h1 titles. blah blah blah

I bought a monthly subscription for Onlywire last month (pre-penguin) and since they don't give refunds, I may as well use it for something. But is it too dangerous to use post-penguin, as it may trigger too many backlinks being built at once - what do you think?

Their support team must be based on some far-away island, because they wrote me the following response:

"I am sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. We do not have information on what effects Google page rankings."

I recently got over 500 social bookmarks sent to my brand new money site before it was even indexed and it's fine. I think having ~50 social links pointing at each post isn't a big deal. I'm actually doing this as well, from what I've read it's a great way to build up domain authority. Think about it like this, if you had something on your site go viral and had thousands of people sharing it would you say "damn, I wish this wasn't happening!" or 'Hell yea, Google told me to get natural links by making great content and that's exactly what I'm doing!"?

Besides social links usually are naked links. Just use your brand name, or actualy URL as the link and there def won't be anything to worry about.

I think that after the latest update, this is pretty much the one safe thing left to do....use bookmarks, if you don't overdo it you should be fine.

I have also been looking into onlywire as I create a large quantity of content onto my site and onlywire seems to be a really good way to syndicate the posts through social media...

I read that you can get a 50% discount for onlywire if you sign up for the free account and then go through the installation process, after the program is installed, what you want to do is restart your computer and then supposedly you will be offered a 50% discount to upgrade to a paying account...

I am not sure if this is true or not as I have not restarted my computer yet, but I will do this soon...

Bookmarking is fine.. make sure they are high quality with PR.

Guys/girls imagine your websites as an actual business.

If you were opening a restaurant, during construction you would have a big COMING SOON BAMBIS BUFFET sign in front of the place. So when you buy a domain put up the under construction page with a little of what the site is about and set up email capture form so they know when it's live. It may be ranked with little content and get some leads before you even launch the site. You see it's ranked, get your aass to getting that puppy up and running soon.

Again to the Bambis Buffet model. Would you open the doors with JUST a big NOW OPEN sign? No! You would promote it with advertising. You would buy ads in newspapers, local magazines/guides and maybe some paid and definitely FREE advertising online w/ social media.

When your site (new business) is launched, it is realistic to believe you will be promoting it. Press releases, fan/business pages, videos, article directories/web 2.0's w/ fresh content, bookmarks, some blog comments are all valid. The search engines know YOU are doing this shit. Do it by hand and make it unique and quality. Pick the top directories, web 2.0's & social media sites. Don't go with the bunk, spammy bullshit. You wouldn't put your own time into that if it wasn't automated. If you can automate it and keep it QUALITY and on TOP LEVEL sites then by all means do it.

Even though your websites are collectively a business, or several businesses; treat the launch and promotion as their own separate business.

Alright, so I finished setting up all my social accounts for onlywire, now I just need to add content to my blog and away syndication occurs...lets see how this goes...

the biggest reason I am going with only wire is that I have over 1000 pages on my site and need to create more links to my pages besides the money pages...my link profile is so over done to five money pages versus the other 1000 pages that are blog posts, hopefully this helps create a little more balance...

I can add previous posts to onlywire and they will syndicate those too...

Which anchors should be used. For example click here usually doesn't match well. If you use raw urls some sites will reject it.

Also is brand name - domain name?
For example if domain is keyword1keyword2.com then brand=keyword1 keyword2

It seems that "click here" and raw urls don't really work that well with onlywire but this is ok, use a lot of synonyms to your keywords and you should be fine, plus brand name + keywords...

When I went to make my first submission, it seems that if you don't use the "Switch to Advanced Post" option, then I am not sure how effective this would be. If you only do the standard option, you will submit the exact same material to 40 social sites, same description, same anchor text, this is not very random or natural...I would recommend the "Switch to Advanced Post" so you can go in and make each link unique...this will take much more time, but it will be worth it as the other option doesn't seem to me will work very well at all...

I submitted a few urls today in a free account...I have about 37 of the social accounts set up, most if not all of the sites submit correctly...

I can envision that most of these account will get banned for spam, maybe not, but I don't understand how these accounts I set up won't get banned...

All of your EMDs are on page 1? some of my older emds have been penalized

Onlywire's support is crap. They won't accept paypal which is just weird and they never respond to queries. I wouldn't bother and hey, if they don't want my $30 a month then they can shove it.
