Onlyfans!

You don't need at start the engineers, an anti-spam team, an accounting team, a support team, because you don't have any customers.
I think that I need them at the beginning, they should be prepared for customers.

payments are handelt by payment processor gateway through their API! just for PCI compliance you aren't allowed to store any card information
So... something that handles payments, keeps them on hold, automatically forwards them after they've been cleared, protects against fraudulent transactions, hosts thousands of new images and videos everyday.... I'd say 6 figures onwards.

The most basic version of the app will cost you about 150,000 - but you need to have a competitive edge, infrastructure capabilities, etc...

DM me if you need some actionable advice, I've built one already so I know what it takes.

I'd estimate smthg like $20k if done cheaply on some freelancer sites or with kind of outsourced agencies in 3rd countries

Not now, but thanks for your help.

This would depend on so many different variables, industry specific and what type of legality is involved!

Check out programming tutorial websites by searching on search engines, and you could find tutorials to create OnlyFans app clone just like there are tutorials to create Facebook clones.

I have a website similar to onlyfans am working with, just looking for investors to help with marketing

Others make the point that you will eventually need 5-6 figures to create an app that rivals, or even competes with onlyfans. However, that is far far far in the future IMO. At the start, all you need is a developer to code you either a website or an app. On sites like freelancer or upwork this might cost you a couple thousand, but nowhere near 6 figures.

the web app is not the main cost, gaining the trust from creators with a following, to choose a brand new platform with no previous reputation or brand recognition over a authority platform thats being promoted by floyd mayweather, cardi b, beyonce, all mainstream media, hundreds of youtubers, 300k IG models, 100k cam models, 50k Pornstars, 100k Celebrities/ Reality stars/ Vloggers, 1M + sws from all over the world, is the harder part.

that requires a team that knows what they are doing, a next level payment processor that is ok with adult transactions, a solution for chargebacks ( a budget ) and a massive budget for PR.

dont forget ONLYFANS has 1 million affiliates, the 'creators' just dont realize they are affiliates ...
Im not saying a small timer cant succeed, but you def need a team with skills and you need a budget.

i know a VERY small competitor/ clone that recently paid $30K upfront to multiple creators to join for example..
thats 100k before earning anything, i dont hear anyone talking about the app, besides some creators ( they probbaly got some money offered )
