Have you ever hired a chatting agency and encountered challenges?

The purpose is to highlight the most common issues when hiring or collaborating with chatting agencies.

This isn’t about naming or shaming any specific agency—it’s about equipping other OFM managers with insights into potential pitfalls and what to consider before signing a deal.

Please note: this call is specifically for OFM agency owners or managers running the business, not chatters.

Thanks!

I’ve worked with a few agencies, and one big issue was the lack of personalized engagement, they often use generic scripts that don’t connect well with fans. Also, transparency about performance metrics can be a problem. Definitely something to look out for before committing

I agree on that one, chatters have to be socially intelligent enough to keep the conversation going so it seems genuine. For some reason that's not that easy to find.

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, can't effectively measure workers' productivity. Not in corporate America, not in the average OF agency... The closer you can get to that number when comparing it with sales, but it's NOT the same.

The chatting/OF agency owners just want chatters to be active. And when they see enough activity inside the tracking software they stop bothering. The chatter who is slacking around on social media during the shift and the chatter who's protecting his mental capital waiting for clear buying signals to strike big = are the same numbers on the metrics board (in terms of activity ofc). But the first one should be fired while the second one is a killer.

Now, let's add tight margins into the equation. You have to convince a chatter to work below the average rate in the industry and lower the hourly rate maybe for $1-$1.5/h. What kind of candidates will you get? Newbies and those who wanna get some experience. But even if you get a good one of the hundreds of bad ones, for how long he stays with you? If he's good - he's not dumb. If he's not dumb he will see the potential of this industry and will leave you.

That's why I think chatting agencies are always a bad choice.

I agree, think it's best to train someone you trust from scratch how would you like him to chat, give base salary with good percentage. If you're having good enough % deal or even salary with the model you can afford to have highly motivated chatters, people in 2nd and 3rd world countries can make decent money for their standard

Racc00n summed it up perfectly, there seems to be a re-occuring issue in the onlyfans service industry where its hard to maintain quality control when dealing with these offshore agencies.

When the talent is cheap it may be good but anyone worth their salt will raise prices, its just business.
