Only getting Russian traffic

I've been receiving Russian traffic on all four of my different phones. I'm using a US SIM card without a VPN on two devices, and on one iPhone, I'm using an eSIM also without a VPN.

I'm puzzled by this situation. Despite living right next to Russia, I would expect that using a US SIM card should prevent this.

Interestingly, when I changed my niche, I started getting more USA traffic—around 80% from the USA and 20% from Russia.

It's quite strange that simply changing my niche led to an influx of USA traffic. I wonder what the reason behind this could be?

I have tried the same niche on every phone I have. Every time I have got Russian accounts liking and viewing my videos.

First of all, check your outgoing IP (via USA VPN) here:

iplocation.net
or
check-host.net

Is it really USA IP address?
 
I checked it.

It is my country IP address.

But it shouldn't matter when I'm using US sim card?

When I turned VPN on, I got USA IP.

That's looks OK. I don't know how to locate the problem then.

Is using a VPN really necessary? Or only when downloading Tiktok??

I've heard some concerns that VPNs might do more harm than good.
 
What are you trying exactly ? You think to use US Sim Card will bring US traffic :) ???

Yes, I am trying to reach US audience with my videos.

Doesn't US sim card help to reach US audience?

I have tried 4 different devices. I ordered 5 new sims for 14 dollars so I am waiting on those.

By different IP you mean just changing the VPN? Or for an example going to my friends house to upload?

How would I setup everything?

Do a reset on the Iphone and then get proxy and then download tiktok? Or how would you recommend doing it?
 
Most of my videos, despite being in English.. no English speaking country appears in top 5 viewers. Then theres sometimes 60-70% from US on same account, same home IP, different video. idk. I guess algo tries to push based on demography of viewers sometimes instead of the backwards. Pretty confusing to me still.
 
Your Content, Title, Description, Tags have to be in english.

The phone number you enter does not determine who the algorithm plays your videos to.
 
It goes through the IP. no one cares about the Sim itself.
So if your location is Russia... than its done :)

The negatives of vpns is you can be attached to others activity with the same IP. But if he has a Russian ip…

Exactly. They can tell your location by IP. Think of it, a US citizen takes his phone to Rus, hes gonna get Rus traffic and be recommended Rus videos.

I don't have a russian IP. I am 200km from russian border though.

What should I be doing next?
