Only archive pages appear in google search .. why ?

Hey guys
I have a strange problem with my site seo that only archive page appear in Google search
Example : i have a wp blog and i have a post page which contain my keyword but the appearing page in google is the tag archive page only that 's always happen with all my target keywords
So can anyone told me why this happen ?

Give it time.
Your page may be indexed but not appear yet in serps. Give it like 3-15 days and you'll be allright

Reason is that site is fairly new
 
seo 101 noindex those tag pages immed
you lose tons of juice to pages that are severely unoptimized for anything and change too often

if you dont rely on categories to rank them and havent optimized them put them on noindex too
same for author archives
sub pages of archives
any special format pages etc
 
Even I am in the same situation only achieves and category pages are ranking high.
Not the posts even after 1 month.

What are the plugins you are using ???

Either:
- site and pages are new
or
- tags/archives are more optimized than posts
or
- tags and archives have more internal power than posts/pages because they appear everywhere on the wordpress and posts only on homepage
or
- posts/pages are overoptimized so they are at position 30+ and archives rank instead
 
See if the index and canonical tags are fine, nothing is blocked in robots.txt and .htaccess, and you have a sitemap submitted with all posts and pages. Then give it some time.

Yes my site is 3 Months old and on an very difficult niece .

all reason I mentioned except site age probably mean you need to learn onpage. if opimized post is outranked by 0 links non-optimized archive then your onpage is wrong

I am currently using google XML sitemap generator plugin .
Is it time to switch to yoast .

I used Yoast To nonindexing this
