Onlinemarketing.name - would you buy it?

Hola Blackhatters!

I see that http://www.onlinemarketing.name is for sale on ebay right now (domain+content). What do you experts think? Is there a chance to rank this site and get customers with it? I see some good content on the blog, good site-structure and onsite seo, only the domain seems to be very "young"...

So what do you say? would you buy it? are .name domains rankable in google.com?

I haven't checked the website on it but if it was just the domain name, I wouldn't go for it.

Buy it only for cheap cost, .name is not much beneficial

hmm.. yes as you say it, i have never really seen a .name domain ranking good for hard keywords...

The domain is worthless and so is the site I'm afraid. If you really want to have onlinemarketing in your domain name go for some other crappy TLD like bz. Yes, onlinemarketing.bz is available but I wouldn't buy it either.

I suggest you not to fall for these exotic TLD's, they don't perform well in search engines and some of them are purely illogical for some keywords. Like this one, what has online marketing to do with .name? "It is intended for use by individuals for representation of their personal names, nicknames, screen names, pseudonyms, or other types of identification labels." I'm sure most people will find the domain really spammy even if it for some reason ranks on search engines.
