GG its so weird how people meet. First I wanna say congrats on your successful life you have so far. I think I can go as far as to say congrats on your promotion of that artist whos label cut the check to you. I think I know who he is cause his latest mixtape was a sensation in no less then three days (over 2 mil downloads lol).
If this gets your attention anytime soon, I would love for you to see my point of view of some great things. Certainly, you have notice the latest trend in artists becoming more talented in order to separate from the pack. Still its not as diversed as it should be. I have witnessed artist that are talent singers who can produce their own music and record it up to industry standards. Still they might never get noticed cause they lack the most fundamental part of the music business,"proper promotion". I also fall in this category and probably at the top. Even though I produce on a professional level (formerly for interscope), I've never received the promotion it would take to be visible to a accepting audience.
FIRST OF ALL, don't think I am trying to freeload or make a pitch to you because I am established behind the scenes. DJ Kid Capri is a business partner of mine, which help me connect with a lot of people from his tv show (Just Blaze, Amber Rose, Dorrough, 2 Live Crew).
BASICALLY, I feel that I could be a major asset to you, and twice over vice versa. I produce, write, engineer, promote, tour, etc... That's just the tip. While I was in the U.S. Navy, I was a certified photographer, journalist, and also had training in shooting videos. Thing is that's too many hats for one person so when it came to my projects I wanted to outsource and just play the executive role.
I realized that I had to plan it differently for my NEW project and came up with a solid model. All of the things I did were practice for this business model. Now I have a specific goal, not just to be on any label but the one that fits me best Maybach Music Group. The project would only be to garnish their attention leading to deal talks. Just like all the IMs here try to find niches, I did the same lol. I fit the style of artists they acquire, produce that genre of music easily, and wouldn't be a risk to them.
Blah Blah Blah, I could go on and on but ultimately I just want to squeeze a pm with you some time and if I'm lucky, a Skype chat or so lol. They have people that try to lie to make themselves look better but I put this on my BH membership, I'm not one of them. That's why I say with confidence, with proper promotion I could be the top All around Artist to have ever made it. I would love to have a chance to connect with you and provide proof.
Fellow Blackhatters, let me shoot down the negativity before it comes. Yes I know I could just go to a a&r at interscope and pay them to set up a meeting with anyone. I think everyone also knows this game pays pennies to a lot of people. Take it from me, the best way for me to get my goals was to discover BHW, start making x,xxx a day, put together a 60,000 budget and pay the best IMs to market my new mixtape/videos this summer. I refuse to let paper pushers stand in the way of something I have dreamed about since I was singing in church choir at 6 yrs old. With that said, anyone willing to do business, pm me rather than take time out your day to try and poke holes in my thought pattern lol!
