Online Order entry application tool?

hi, i have a project in which i was required to create an online based product catalog of some sort, to provide users with access to products inventory. is there any free scripts available? im having quite a hard time finding one?

i was expecting more like this but web based - an order tracking status
main functionality is - i can track inventory, process orders, generate receipt/invoice

You're asking for an ecommerce platform. Your customers can purchase the products, you get paid immediately, they get an invoice. You can place orders for their account, print out your own receipts, create shipping labels etc. Some of it may require customization, but it's doable.
