online.net is good hosting for cheap servers

hello everyone
recently i talked with one of staff member of online.net .. mostly i read on internet forums they don't have good support . but as my experience they have good support ..

they have very cheap servers ..

but they don't have payment options you only can pay with credit card

problem for users who always use paypal , bitcoin etc .

Support ratings very among users, but generally, they're known to have decent support and very cheap prices. Like ridiculously low.

Did you chat with a salesman or tech support, there is a large difference. Salesmen will be all over you like a tramp on chips as you may bring money to them. Support, and I have had some experience with them, was a nightmare. Days to get them to respond to any thing. A guy who had a server there that I took over looking after had a compromised account and I was trying to clean it up. Three times they suspended the server knowing what I was doing and let me do nothing. They told me to clean it up but wouldn't allow access to the box.

They are a shady company in my opinion and I won't touch a box that comes from them (or OVH if we want to go that far!)

As they say, pay your money and take your chances - just hope you never need support and that you never have a compromised account.

i create aa ticket to tech support and sales department both are good .. my friend have server with them he pay them 20 euro for support .. its working fine ..

ovh is expensive but they have another hostings working under ovh soyoustart and kimsufi both have weird support they didn't reply to you .. they take 24 hrs to 72 hrs for answering your email
 
Never heard of them. Anyone hosting their websites there?
 
Seriously, this is the first time am hearing of them... Obviously they are not "good enough" to be recommended!
 
They are actually pretty good. Their servers are top class, I've been using them for a couple of months. Support might not be the best, but their servers are surely great and they come at great prices.

There's tons of other web-hosting companies using online.net as their source for servers and then they just re-sell.
