online money making. is it worth ?

oh yeah, how much money do you make online ?
I guess you have to ask yourself do you like having a steady income? Having paid vacation days etc that a normal 9-5 has?
Or would you rather work for pennies an hour 18hrs a day till you find something that works only to have it fall apart a month, 6months, or a year down the road and have to start all over? Would you like to work for days or weeks on a project and when the time to get paid finally comes around get ripped off?
Yes in IM just like real business when things are going well they are great but unlike with that 9-5 when they fall apart your the only one there to pick up and rebuild. So if you love stress, drama, and problems you'll love IM. If not stick with your day job.

Do both until the latter is sustainable. Have CV's prepared in case your website traffic tanks and you need a job
Long term is it sustainable? My thoughts are no one website will be sustainable, because the internet is still very new. Something will replace websites as they are, and search engines as they are. When they get replaced, be prepared to change with the times or go bankrupt. And so it is important to stash away cash, either in offline investments or the bank for when big changes happen. Evolve or die when it comes to the internet
I agree, IM is not a stable gig. Its changing too much, all the time. You will have to branch out and start to venture into offline investments if you ever want to go big.
If you want to be doing no work for the rest of your life, think big or go home. The chances are you won't get into a position like that with IM. Use the money you make from IM and look for bigger investments. Its those that will make you the real money. Like with all things, scale up. It is hard to move through the different classes.
