Having a domain that not only has a search volume that is high but also a domain age that is very old, is a huge benefit.

You are referring to SEO when you say you have a good number of backlinks.

SEO is important, but it's not the only source. Domain Age, Authority, and Relevancy play a huge factor in ranking.
