Online directory - would you pay for listing in there ?

I`m going to set up like a 50 online directories and charge for listing in them all. From experience in my country it turns out that there is demand for this. Something like freeindex. I am wondering how much would i have to charge to not scary UK/US customers. Any ideas ?

This was a great way of doing online business circa 2006 - 7 - 8

Then a raft of directories got de-indexed by G and the sector has never really recovered from that body blow...

There is still a market there but you need to target and work that verticle professionally...

A buddy of mine here on BHW has just started with one directory which I know he will succeed with but a batch of 50 in one go - not for me - but hey good luck...
