Ive noticed a lot of visitors coming to one of my sites from a .onion referrer.
I know .onion is tor etc but why would it show as a referrer for visitors?

Why wouldn't it show as referrer if its referring visitors to your site?

if some onion site linked to you, and visitors are coming trough this link, it will pass ref data just like any other site

makes sense i suppose. I was just thinking tor used something similar to https which would not show the referrer. First time ive seen an onion site as a referrer.
