OneHourBackLinks serves a purpose......for do follow links you do achieve some indexing of the links with follow....for non hyper competitive keywords it does help.

Cool... You can rank with only one link type (comments, profiles, etc) so you'll probably see a good bump. If you actually want to build something around it you should diversify of course.
And yes, the price drops as you buy more links.

Disappearing right after you build links is almost always sign of a Google Dance. Just kick back and wait as it usually comes back in a week or two. Sometimes they'll be gone a day, sometimes 6 months, but usually it's just a week or two.
Hopefully you didn't hit a 3 week old site with too many links. You have to start easy on those virgin sites.
