its like putting a comment in a blog with an anchor text.
putting a link in the signature and posting in the forums.
Putting a link in the text and submit it in the social bookmarking sites.

when i putting a link in the signature and posting in the forums. and if i post 10 post in one forum i got 10 link building or 1 ?

Link building also have the extra benefit of bringing good, quality traffic but only if theLink building are quality. Link building are quality One-Way Back Link

Yes iam agree with you but link building is much more than this, it helps a lot in increasing back links and also to get more and more popularity in search engine page with increased page rank and decrease in Alexa rank.

One way link is link to your web page (without nofollow) potentially can improve seo value
Two way is obsolete technique when you post link and get link back. Even has no value for seo, but may be good for natural navigation from related sites. It may be valuable one again with some new animals. i.e. I am not saying it has absolute 0 seo value in future.
