One thing I've learned that I will NEVER do AGAIN!

Haven't read all the responses beyond the first page, but OP, never work out any business without putting a STOP-LOSS triggers, along with disaster recovery plans -- whatever they are, they should help you from further any loss come what may.

One of those disaster recovery suggestion/rule is: don't put further hopes (and time, and money, and work, and... :)), unless your situation gets better AFTER putting the action plan to use -- successfully. It means, don't hope that someone will pay sooner or later. Get a part of full payment first at that point in time. Your partner should've done the same stop-loss procedures when he went into a promising (and also productive) JV as a marketer joining with any good technician/friend/whoever...

Second, as you said, don't put all the eggs in one basket and that too when the time is running good and is productive for you. When the time is bad, nothing works -- almost.

Third, don't just think about the loss and over the gone things. Begin afresh.

P.S.:

This is hurting you a lot at 75k, so I think a stop-loss mark should've been anywhere from 6 or 7.5~15k when the disaster preventive measure was required an activation on your part.

There are ways to get revenge, but you gotta be nasty, like them, the guys or company who f@#$ed you! I've delt with a few situations like that, but I'm evil so I got my money!

If you're interested in some tactics let me know!

Getting a lawyer isn't going to help or do shit, except cost you more money!

As others have stated that's a fat stack to get burned on, however you seem pretty calm about the whole thing. Keep trying if there is any way to get your money and if worst comes to worst just consider it a really expensive mistake you won't ever make again. It's amazing to see how far you've come in IM royserpa I remember when you were still new here trying to make your first money online and now your shrugging off $75k like it's almost no big deal, now that's progress!

This thread was made last Sunday.

1 noob joined Tues
1 noob joined Thurs
3 NOOBS JOINED TODAY

All 5 posted sympathetic 1 liners in the last 24 hours.

What's the mathematical probability that 3 would join in 1 day, all 3 go post in completely random threads.... and somehow ALL 5 find their way to this exact thread to say the same thing? All within a 24 hour time frame? And all this happens right after the threads derailed and Roy seems to be on vacation.

What a fucking coincidence.

Thanks for suggestion mate. I don't trust any company.

I've been silently watching this thread since it was posted, and while I would normally agree with you, I don't think this is a case of one user creating fictitious accounts to commiserate the story. I actually read through the posts of the new accounts, and all of those accounts seem like they've "had a lot of thought put into them"; more than what you would normally expect from fake accounts (not that someone can't put in the effort, it's just rare to see that). Two of the accounts seemed very similar, but I think they were just typical new members asking for review copies and discounts.

Now, back to the shadows I go...

I like this guy.

Do this Roy. Turn it into a journey. I want to see what happens.

Hey Roy,

Just a note, if you ever decide to scale to that volume always ask to have your payouts turn to a net 7 hold back till they are paying you on a rolling basis on that net 7 before you scale big, it really does help mitigate the risks. If they don't want to pay on a net 7 then I wouldn't do business with them. Though I do know margins are cut and shaving happens, I stick to networks myself because the risk is on them to get paid not us.

Also, there are collection companies out there related to this industry and to be completely honest you should really out every contact associated to this so others in our industry do not get burned (We should really get into the habit of helping our own). If outing a company that does not pay is not allowed here, I can help point you to places you can. I would hate to see this happen to others. Just PM me if thats the case.

PS: There are also very helpful FB groups dedicated to this type of thing that could also point you in the right direction.

Those collection companies mentioned above can help collect for a % on owed if your methods of collecting don't work. If you do decide to go this route, be prepared to offer proof of everything. Save emails, skype convos, reporting dashboard etc...

@BreaknBrix thanks for the input mate.

The LP is not finished yet, that's merely a demo. Also already gave several free review copies, do you want one?

Believe me, this thread is far from a lie and I just wanted to share this with bhw for people not to do crap like i did with this insurance company.

Im not broke, but those 56k spent kinda hurt lol.

Anyway, let me know if you want a free review copy @BreaknBrix .

Peace! :)

Problem is Roy, You didn't name the Insurance company. You do realize everyday affiliates will sign up with this insurance company (maybe some who frequent this forum who you could have seen this thread and avoided business with them) standing the chance to lose money, from where I stand this thread has not helped a single person seemingly outside of you at this point with potential networks knowing you have traffic as well as your own product.

I personally would like to help someone else avoid losing money if I can. Just me though.

I could care less if this was a lie or not as it doesn't effect my business as insurance isn't my niche, but to call this thread helpful... it is not for anyone else outside of you.

Don't mean to be harsh, not my intent but I really feel that this thread hasn't helped anyone as someone next week may lose money with these guys and could have pulled out from them by some simple information and proof.

Well, the main reason I'm not outing this insurance company is that their clients are all cpa networks and I am the only non cpa network client they have. I mean, the only ones that are taking the risk are the networks, and not the affiliates.

It was really tough getting the contract with this insurance company but believe me, all their other clients were cpa networks and affiliate networks.

It is your choice at the end of the day. I still would hardly call this thread helpful to those in this niche and avoiding this companies specific offer whether its direct or through a network.

I just wouldn't want to be that guy who watches others lose money from these guys and could have helped some avoid it.

Hopefully they come around and pay you out and it all works out and no one else gets stiffed direct or networks.

i WILL out the company if they don't pay me, so don't worry ;)

Show any f*king proof of your investment or ANYTHING that can make us believe you. Who are you ? a 16 years old kid who need to up his ego ?
I don't care if anyone believes me, this thread is just to tell people NOT to invest everything in 1 venture.

Shit can hit the fan.

I do understand where your frustration is, but when you post a forum that is suppose to be helpful to others you should take a step back and write a draft, what in your mind was helpful wasn't written like that as there was absolutely no helpful information to others in it.

Also people SHOULD invest in 1 single venture in my opinion as it really does help with the focus and refining your craft almost to the point of being an expert. Stretching yourself too thin with too many ventures makes you ok at multiple things not great at one thing. The lesson learned should be out of this is: Conduct your business wisely and align yourself with the right people and company. ALWAYS do research on people you do business with so you don't lose money. MOST importantly don't throw the kitchen sink at a net 15 or 30, that is too long of a wait to get your money and too many things can happen in between that you can't float yourself. If your only option is a net 15 or 30 give yourself x amount of budget to spend. If they don't want to pay net 7 bail on it as they obviously don't have the capital to run their own business.

Maybe a mod can close this thread and you can rewrite a better one more focused on what you were trying to convey rather than have it seem that an Health Insurance company stealing alot of money that you wont reveal or out. It's fine to be frustrated and want to air it out, but before you do take a step back and think about what you really want to convey so it doesn't get lost in translation.

Again, hope it all works out and no one else gets stiffed.

Insurance company finally paid! :D
