One thing I've learned that I will NEVER do AGAIN!

So, a few months ago I was working with a company I had great communication with and decided, STUPIDLY, to invest 95% of what I had to provide leads to the company.

Results go in and I made around $19k in profit that month or $75k in total revenue.

Time passes and comes the date when I was going to get paid. (I got paid several thousands before this, so I already knew they were paying on time). Then they tell me they can't pay me as one of the companies they are working them don't pay them.

Now, at this point, I'm just feeling effed up and stupid as I invested 95% of what I had and as the Morphy's Law says, shit hits the fan. I'm owed $75k and I can't even renew the HK company I registered last year. (Though, thanks to @clark123 for giving me his hand in tough times :) )

LESSON LEARNED!

NEVER PUT MOST OR ALL OF YOUR EGGS IN ONE BASKET!

DON'T DO IT! EVEN IF IT SEEMED LIKE THE BEST OPPORTUNITY EVER! (Like it happened to me)

$75k? Dam, I'm so sorry bro.
I have noticed that everytime I invest all my money into something I go into a bad streak and lose it all or almost all.
Hope you get that money back!
 
Oh you thought that having an account in that company is same as that of having a bank account to keep all your savings money in there?

I was working with a US Company and they paid me for my lead services for several months. Then decided to invest 95% of what I had in my marketing funnel to get them leads, which worked, and ended up with $75k in revenue from around $56k invested in advertising. Then US Company couldn't pay me.

Nothing to do with banks lol. xD

I absolutely understood. But what I meant is why in the world didn't you get your money before investing and thought it's a good idea to keep it with them for more than a month's time.

I don't think that even makes sense bro xD

I bought $56k of advertising, made $75k for the company in leads.

They pay me net15, that means 15 days after the end of the month. That's how things work and everyone is happy.

I don't "keep them for more than a month's time". They pay 15 days after end of the month for last months earnings.

I don't even think what you say bro xD
 
Damn. Sounds like a really expensive mistake. Atleast you should have used a couple of networks instead of just using one.

yea bro, but this time i wasn't working with networks, but a Company and I was selling them the leads generated xD

My mistake, I thought you made 19k in that month and had an total outstanding of $75K including previous months.. that was why was wondering why you didn't withdraw the money before re-investing it. Anyway bad luck..
 
Lawyer up. You have in writing that they owe you money. 75k is a lot of money.

Dude that really sucks. At least you are still standing though right?
So now go and do the same thing with their closest competitor :-) (but don't make the same mistake of course).
 
They still owe you money and if you want to avoid the courts send me certified letter for amounts owed and have them pay on payment plan if they can't pay via contract terms.

Don't think like an average individual.
 
Did you had a contract or something in writing? This can help you a lot in case you want to go the legal route.
 
Cant you take any legal action $75k is big amount i wouldnt give up the money that fast
