one page websites

Do you usually create one page websites and rank them or are those days over?

I'm just jumping back into SEO after taking a break from it for awhile, but I really don't think that flies any more. Probably will have to exploit google some other way.

I still have a 2 that I've been lazy to write more content for.
Ones ranking 2 for main KW, other at 4. Surprisingly their rank actually went up after the recent update, while the ones I spend hours on lost rank :/
Anyways, I wouldn't recommend making 1 pages websites, I plan to add more pages to mine soon.
