Ok, Ive never offered up any of my secrets here, so Ill offer this one up for everyone's digestion. Ill be very upfront that this requires an investment between $140-$400 depending on your target audience and how you choose to use it. So here goes:
One of the most cotreversial and discussed affiliate methods used today is CookieStuffing but how can you effectively stuff cookies for obscure yet very profitable niches? My solution is media buys. Media buys for the purpose of this conversation will directly mean magazine ads, although I have done tv and even major website as buys.
So lets say we are stuffing e*b**ay cookies and we want to target an audience that is likely to shop quite a bit there, what I will do is go to the company I use's website (available by PM only) and look at the magazine inventory that they do ads for. I will place an ad in a magazine that I know my target niche reads. So here's an example: Urban clothing and shoes are popular on ebay and everywhere else for that matter so I know that there are likely to be tons of sales on any given day for those types of items. I will look at the availale publications and I may choose a couple to place ads but for this example I am going to use one and that is XX-L ma-ga-zine. This is a very popular magazine for the Urban Hip Hop crowd, so I know that this is my target niche. I can submit a 14 word ad for 11.95 a word that will run a month long. Now some might say that price is a little steep but not really considering your ad runs 1 month, and the amount of readership involved. The thing that makes this method successful is how you write your ad, now I know first hand there is only one clothing ad (in back) for this particular magazine so I pretty much have free reign, but you want to draw the reader in immediately, I may something like "guaranteed authentic merchandise , lowest prices available etc. etc. or maybe I build a page that gives away a free pair of "fill in the blank" shoes for every 1000th visitor. The possibilities are endless, but whatever page you direct them to, you want tho have ad placements and of course cookies stuffed, and Im sure you can see the potential here. I will offer up round 2 of this method a little later...I seriously could have sold this but Im in the giving mood
