If I could get a 1 letter domain name--i.e. something like "a.bc" that is a standard domain (i.e. not an IDN domain--which are crap), what do you think it could be worth if properly marketed? How about using it as a link-shortening portal? (Since there are NONE in existence with a top level domain that short.) I found one someone is willing to sell and what to see if their price is worth it. :D

How much is it? I was thinking about this a few days ago... Must be a really really high price.

Invaluable, people remember 1 letter domains. Under 20k I would snatch it up in a heartbeat.

is it a TLD?

as I am sure you need a min 2 letters, although alot of domain hacks using other countires let you have some cool looking domains.

You can find single letter .com domains, actually. Single letter domains were mostly issued before "they" decided what the rules were going to be. There was only one .co.uk (x), and the registrant let that drop.

IDNs are not crap if you know what to do with them, 1 IDN domain updated once gives me 70 per month in adsense revenue without doing nothing. About your 1 letter domain I hope the owner is in need of money, because you need a fat wallet. If the price is one you can afford, jump on it, always keep in mind to buy low (wholesale price) -/+ so you can later resell it to an end user!

i'd go for it, single letter, quit playin that things worth some money. get it.
