One Keyword Disappeared From Serp's

What does it mean when one keyword drops from the serps. On my serpbook it shows it dropped 96 spots and is gone from the serps. I have not done any back linking to this specific post in while. What does it mean when one keyword does this? I am freaking out because it is a pretty big chunk of traffic.

Its in hack, generators realted niche ? Google penalized lots of websites in these niches in last few days. If its not may be your website get removed for specific keyword through DMCA from G search.

No its not hack niche its health niche. The weird thing is when I search google its still in 4th position. All of the other keywords for this post are in the same spot and same with all my keywords on my site. Just this one keyword got removed on serpbook.
 
If you are seeing it on #4 when searching manually, without being logged in in Google, with cache and cookies cleared, it's probably just a glitch with serpbook.

In general, the only reason for single keywords or narrow keyword sets to drop like this are partial manual penalties for unnatural links. The other stuff mentioned in this thread like the "pure spam" penalty, algorithms like Penguin and Panda, are always affecting the whole domain, never just a subpages/subdirectory. But again, I'd trust a manual check more than serpbook. Worst case: you are really unlucky and serpbook grabbed the right ranking, but due to different datacenters, you are still getting the old result.
 
May be some technical issue check on this (sitemap, meta robots, noindex,) and check your position in other search engine, if you face this only in google might be penalty

I am really hoping this is the case. I did clear my cache and cookies and checked and its still there. Hopefully its just a glitch with serpbook, though I have never had this problem before. Does anybody else have problems like this happen?
 
Is the specific subpage still ranking well for other terms, except the one keyword that serpbook shows as dropped? If yes, chances that it's just a glitch are almost 100%, since a penalty would affect the (sub)page itself, not a single keyword.
 
Yeah, false alarm guys. Woke up this morning and its back to number 4 on serpbook. Man that was a scare. Makes me want to be even more careful than I have been when link building. Thanks for the feedback guys.

If Serpbook checks the ranking once daily per keyword, then you can end up running into weird stuff like this. The position of the keyword always depends on the time it was checked. For all you know the ranking could have dropped for two minutes, but Serpbook coincidentally checked within that two minutes. If a manual check produces a ranking that's more consistent with its history, then I would assume nothing is wrong.
