[One Day Journal] $50 from small-scale spamming?

Hey everyone!

Figured I would set up a quick-cash journal in addition to my long-term journal. I will only be recording stats for 24 hours (starting at 5PM EST, going to 5PM 12/6/2011 EST). The purpose of this thread is basically to get some people thinking about a quick way to make some extra cash if they're in a pickle. Now, I won't be giving out any specific sites, but if this goes well and lots of people are interested, I may later on.

Alright, so what I'll be doing. Basically, I'll be spamming 2 sites: an adult chat site, as well as an online text-based RPG. The adult chat site, I'll just be sending a message like:

"blah blah free cam show blah sign up on the right blah link here xxx"

And then sending them directly to the offer. This isn't going to cost me a thing, to make things as simple as possible. As for the game, I'll be sending something like:

"I have a spare {insert game item here} that I'll give you if you sign up to my site real quick. Respond with the email you sign up with and I'll shoot it over! link here xxx"

Of course, neither of these are true, and are fairly unethical, but I mean, hey, it's money. If you're desperate for quick cash, no one should be able to tell you how ethical/unethical you can be. (but I will - don't steal peoples' money )

Here are the stats, they will be updated as I'm doing this. I'll be blasting 200 messages per 15 minutes to recently active users (within the last minute) on the game, and a message every 10 seconds on the chat site. I'll be doing this with 2 custom bots that I've written myself. If you're interested in the progress of this thread, please don't just sit by, I'd love to hear your feedback.

The overall goal is $50 within 24 hours using only these 2 methods. I'll be starting in 15 minutes. Enjoy, and like I said, hope to see some feedback. Or, if you'd like to see another site in here, let me know and I'll write up a bot real quick and include it in the study, if you want to test a site's traffic or something.

Alright, it's starting. Adult site message sending will start up in about 2 minutes, and the first 200 on the game site have started. Let's see where this goes.

Alright, a few clicks so far. I've obviously done a bit of testing with these before, the adult site usually only converts like 1/50 or so and the clicks come in slowly, but the payout for the offer is $5.50. The game site clicks come in quickly, and they convert about 1/15 or so, with a payout of $1.50 for the offer.

And the adult site banned the IP. >.> I'm not sure, but I may just cross the adult site out of this equation, and may think of something else to add in. If I did, it would be another game site, and I'd be spamming the forum on the game site, maybe once every 15 minutes. Anyone want me to do that? Honestly that would probably be more exciting and it would probably get more clicks + $.

haha Already a conversion from the adult site, that's a shocker. Too much of a hassle to deal with though, averages about 1/50 but the IP gets banned in about 2 minutes, so at 6PM EST I'm going to start posting on the other game site every 10 minutes, and I'll update the thread accordingly.

lol Now the game site is getting annoying with their banning Over the next couple of hours I'll probably be adding a few sites to this journal.

Sorry guys, I've been caught up with other things. x.x But this went fairly well, I ended up with $38 total, about 225 clicks. So not half bad. I'll probably do another of these soon, but I'll be much more detailed about it.

Also, this is my first post as Jr. VIP, so happy.

I feel jealous of threads like this. Why it is so much easy to make $$$ to some people. I am trying my venture to at least $10 a day and making $50 a day is like nothing to you. Anyway thanks for sharing it with us. It gives me motivation though.

Well, if you're looking for investment money, even though it may not seem very ethical, spam is quite the profitable industry. Just find the perfect site to spam, and get a bot written for it. If you want to go 50/50 on something, I'll even write the bot and run it if you want. If you find the site, of course.

But other than that, I'd suggest Fiverr, just sell simple things there, but put up several gigs. I'm putting up 50 tonight and seeing how many sales I get, just to see if it's something worth pursuing further. Or Craigslist, talk about a proven source of traffic. Try to get with a good CPA network, look around at all the offers they have, and then brainstorm on what kind of traffic would convert for it, and where you can get large amounts of that traffic.
