One big site or several niche sites?

Hi, iam actually thinking about putting my niche sites together to a big one.

Just to cover more niches, keywords and have less work.

Actually working with 7 different sites but relative new, few rankings, few backlink.

What do you think about it?
Can I use old articles from other sites?

With the frequent updates coming, I will diversify my income sources.

I will create a big authority niche site and several other small sites so that if a site goes down, I can get something from others at least

In my opinion: Both, if the niche is good.

If you have to choose one: Several niche sites. Why? Less eggs in one basket, and niche sites rank easier (as far as my experience has shown me).

With the current stuff Google has been doing, I would rather have multiple Niche sites especially if the big site you have got hit and lost 50% + traffic, the smaller ones might have kept traffic if you had a lot.

One big site if you want to go all in.

Several niche sites if you want to play it safe.

Depends on how much money you got in your bank for next few months of expenses.
