In general, is it possible to recover an account after your emails start going to spam? I had a Gmail account that was working perfectly for weeks (sending a few hundred emails per day). Always would hit inbox and generate a good amount of replies. Then my list provider got lazy, didn't clean a list when I expected him to, and I ended up sending a campaign out that had a 25% bounce rate
I think that fucked things up internally because ever since then the responses haven't been the same. I literally have tons of data on that Gmail account and leads I am currently nurturing, and now that it's hitting spam it feels like a wasted effort. It's showing an 8.2/10 score on mailtester (SMTP is blacklisted on 3 sites), but it appears that only emails to other Gmail accounts are being opened.
Would dialing back outbound emails for a few days fix things or should I cut my losses?
