On The Currency Gambling Affiliates Use

Sorry if this doesn't exactly count as it being in the proper board, as this just has to do with a minor thing that some of these affiliates do, more specifically on the Recurring Billing type of gambling systems. I saw a program with great gravity there that I want to make the end-goal for gamblers to subscribe to so that (hopefully) I can just get paid on autopilot.
However, the program itself is UK-based and describes everything in Pounds. Now, I know nothing about gambling and am still trying to find a spot to even research all of that without being mislead, but my biggest deal is this:
Would it be possible to market a UK-based system to Americans? It's a dumb question yes but searching it up gives no answers and I'm looking for someone who has tried gambling affiliate marketing to perhaps show me the ropes a tad. My biggest goal is to become an authority on this sort of subject.
Last thing I'd want is to end up trying to promote a UK-based product to Americans and, for some odd reason, it being invalid or whatever.
