Does anyone have an up to date SEO guide for one page optimizations for 2017.

I've done some research and keywords I want to rank for have almost no back-links in the top of the pages and I really want to focus on optimizing my pages for the best on-page experience that I can.

just put exact match keyword in tittle,h1,desc and link important pages internally from related supporting pages

I actually just put the keyword in the Title, h1 and in text once. I noticed my competitors haven't done any of these yet they rank higher? Why could this be the reason? When our DA is roughly the same.

If you are comfortable PM'ing the keyword to me I can share the degree of tuning you actually need to compete on page 1. No worries if you aren't comfortable with that but the answers you seek are in your competitor's factor measurements.

I'm a new member if you want to pm me, I'll respond.

Had to scrub the images a little as to not out your keyword. :-)

Page 1 Avg = average factor measurement for a page 1 result
Value 1 - Value 10 = Factor measurements for results 1 - 10

Factors with orange are the ones to consider.

Some interesting things:

leading matches in H4 packing a punch

You want your target term to be the most dense term on the page:

Of the factors that correlate strongly these are the ones you fall short on:
