After the Medical Update, we are struggling to bring our websites back to shape.
We understood the main problem is with content so we started to update a lot of it and try to optimize it.
Up to now, no big difference in ranking and traffic.
Therefore my question is; what on-page optimization have you found working best?
What to pay attention to?
Is authorship (real picture, address, phone number and so on) as important as some SEO guy says?
What about affiliate links in content? Should they be not more than 1/2 per article?
I would like to hear what have you tried to go past the update and what has been the result.
