On page for EMD ecommerce website

So im doing my on page for an exact match ecommerce domain,

lets say my domain is "guttervacuum.co.uk"

kw to rank for:
[gutter cleaning equipment] volume: 4,196.88
[gutter vacuum] volume: 2,422.28
[gutter cleaning machine] volume:1,066.02
[gutter cleaning vacuum] volume: 558.28

Seeing as its an EMD would it be best to try rank the homepage for these keyword or try rank the product pages?

Maybe rank the homepage for "gutter cleaning equipment" and the product pages for "gutter vacuum"?

anyone have any experience with this please let me know thanks

I would build a brand around the exact keyword of the domain name and optimize the main page for that keyword as an ecommerce website (ecommerce websites are treated differently to informational ones by google, so there's no point slamming an article on the homepage, but rather turn it into an ecommerce).

And I would create product pages around the other keywords you've mentioned.

Also, I didn't do any research but if that is indeed a real domain name, or worse, a real domain name that you own, I would remove ASAP. There's google employees active on the forum, and they've deindexed domain names that have been public. For your safety, I recommend that you remove the domain name (well, the keywords, too actually) from the post

No.

Problem with EMD is it's hard to get things trademarked (from my own experience)

Anyway.

Home page I would just target what you do.

So Gutter Cleaning.

Whatever else leave that to the product page(s) then.

If the product is just a singular item with many features i.e

It is a Gutter Cleaning Machine and Cleans Gutters with a Vacuum

Then I would design the product page as such, with content areas designed to highlight the features of the products titles, images and sub descriptions.

Gutter Cleaning Equipment

This would be your category page. Target that KW with content to match.

That's how I would do it.

build a brand around gutter vacuums since that exact keyword appears in the domain name. When your ecom business is about gutter vacuums the homepage of your website will unintentionally, but luckily, get ranked in google by gutter vacuum, gutter vacuums, and got-knows-what other related terms. That's the beauty of an ecommerce website, especially if it's a big brand. That's why you want to create a brand around that domain name and grow it big enough to rank for all sorts of related terms to gutter vacuums.

And yes, the other keywords can easily be targeted with their own unique URLs and content

I mean, you can rank ecommerce pages without too much content as opposed to blogs. Someone typing "running shoes" into google will obviously want to see a product page for running shoes than reading an article about running shoes.
