Hello,

i have a streaming website for Tv-Series like The Big Bang Theory, Breaking Bad etc.

I have for each episode a little description, 100-300 words for SEO purposes. (I read that a website should have around 400-500 words/page, how can I achieve this because editing the descriptions would take some months

I got a few questions:

- Should the Meta-Description on the episode page be the description of the episode (shortened to 150 characters) or the description of the whole series?

- How should be the h1 tag of the website where the real stream is?
<series> <episodename> <season> <episode> HD Stream?
(for example?)

- What should be my keywords for the whole website and for the other pages?

- On my main page i have all series listed with imdb ratings, but i have the fear that i will rank accidentally for the keyword "imdb" because i have it like 20 times as a word.

- What can I do for Offpage-Seo? I found this website here on BHW where they sell Do follow backlinks: blackhatlinks.com Should I buy some and watch how it will affect my website?

- In this month so far I got 16% of my visits from google, 5% from yahoo and 5% from bing. My problem is I can't get the keywords they searched for.

- Any help/tip/advice would be helpful :)

There are lot of service providers here for Off-page SEO. Check the market place. Add your site to Google analytics you will be able to see the keywords you are ranking from there.

yeah i have my site on analytics but it always says (not provided)/(not set)

there are a lot of Services but which type of service is the Best?

Your visitors are logged into their Google account while searching and clicking on your site in the results that's why Analytics is displaying "not provided" for the search terms.

I can't answer all your questions now but I'll answer the one concerning the descriptions. There is no need to go in and edit all the descriptions to bring their word count up to 500 words. All you need to rank a page is one word. Yes, one word. Since you have more than 100 words on each page, your site is fine as it is.

That said, you can start writing 500 words of descriptions for newly added movies, but there's no need to edit the present ones.

...and you won't rank for "imdb" just because you have it on your page 20 times.

Okey thanks for the answers!

Yeah the descriptions variable from 100 to 300 to 400!

What about offsite. Where could I get other traffic sources..?

Buying traffic would affect nothing, just high numbers of bots.

I thought about getting it viral by commenting on fb fan pages and like them up. Would that be a good idea?

I really want to get my site famous and I have everyday visitors who really stay 20-50 minutes on my website, watching episodes. So it is in some way wanted.

I wouldn't recommend seo for streaming website. It is dangerous and MPAA will go after you. Also you will see a lot of DMCA take down notices and get de-index from Google and other search engines.

hmm server lays in the netherlands and i am using streamhosts and not my own cdn.

What can I use as a promotion method instead of seo?

SEO is the best marketing technique you can use to get your eyes in front of the eyeballs of visitors.

Sure it is but getting visitors is hard for me..

Where can I advertise for example or how to target them?

if you looking for quality off-page seo then i can provide you
waiting for your reply
