Hello BHW'ers ,

I am going online with my agro business portfolio and wish to be a part of BHW officially.

My previous visits have been basically to read up comments and keep abreast of online marketing techniques but they were rare and never implemented.

Sorry about my manners.
My name is ***o. I am a "modern" farmer from Africa (Nigeria precisely) . I consult for varying sizes of farm whilst providing them with modern and mostly organic techniques.

I am looking to take this online with a portfolio of other great domains (E-commerce, consulting and b/vlogging).

Domain names are already available... One for instance is "Farmi.ng" (note that it spells farming, domain ext is Nigerian already and "farmi" is my brand name.) TRIPLE THREAT ATTACK.

What do you think that site is worth?
- if properly setup,
-loaded with content (I have excellent original content- mostly unsorted),
-marketed with grey hat techniques on a lean budget.

Any pointers on where I can start from?

Any comments explaining tips and "tricks" I can use will be welcome. They should be legit. I do not want to break rules but I would like to explore.

Are you a pro? Do you have spare time on your hands?
I would like us to work together if you be a technical consultant of some sorts.

Man you were born to do this . Cool coincidence, and the name is great.

Looks like what you need is to develop your website with great content about what you do. Don't do any black hat SEO for starters, just concentrate on the on-page SEO and keep pushing great content.

Make sure you're on google webmaster tools and you get every page you create indexed via their crawl function.

Do this for a 2 to 3 months and you should have automatic organic traffic, because your offering is truly unique and should be easy to rank without any links at all.

One of the problems I have is specifics.

The thread by @LukaB on starting a website looks good.

Such as..

Best hosting plan?
Which e-commerce platform to utiliise?

My main problem however is TIME.

I have established THE BUSINESS FRAMEWORK offline and it is a lot of work already.

Can I get a freelancer/partner in here to take care of the tech end whilst I keep up with updating the content.

Would love to setup the whole deal myself but if I allocate 2-3months on it, the real business is gonna suffer for it.

And yes... About "been born to do this", the plan I have laid down here is about 2-3% of the final plan.

My plan is for 150,000,000+ Nigerians. (maybe I am thinking too big)

You can hire what we call a Virtual Assistant or "VA".

Also the "Hire a Freelancer" section on this forum can be of use to you. You outsource some chores and take care of your main biz.
