Ok, I believe these questions has been asked a lot. I read from some users who look like they know what they are saying that it's all right but some others say it's not. Please I need some Gurus to break my doubts.

I have a channel that will be pointing to a specific niche that I like and it's a hobby of mine but I still do not have a lot of content to upload. So uploaded some videos related to my content a few min long each AND some music videos 1 hour - 40 min long (to get some watch time from SMM with them). One of the 1 hrs videos is a compilation of songs and it has 170 watch hours so far but it has from the beginning a "Copyright claim" not a strike, but a claim.

This is what it says:

"The video cannot be monetized due to a copyright claim.
Review the details and dispute the claim if you think it is in error. Income is withheld until the challenge is resolved."

So, from what I read this video cannot be monetized and earnings go to the owners, that is ok for me, but will that be an issue when requesting monetization? Should I send my watch hours to another video? Be afraid?

Appreciate your comments!

get rid of the video otherwise you will not be monetized

YouTube don't joke with anything copyrighted. Just stay away from them
