On average; 50% are spam comments according to my BST thread?

I have a BST that is offering a free product which scrape and deliver ready-made Products to dropship from Amazon to eBay.
I noticed that there's multiple new members who just register and take advantage on 'discounts' requests. it happens with aged accounts as well.

With that being said; still both of the sides benefit - The thread owner (from bumping) and the spammer (post count). However, It's annoying to send PM for those spammers who is not even going to read the msg so I can spare on the bump.

In total;
I have 140 Comments requesting free access to my the Tool - resulted to 140 PMs that converted to 70 None paid https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/dropscraper-100-free-autopilot-winning-dropshipping-products-finder-ebay.1480671/ Members in total.

But I found a little trick to spot those spammers, usually; they reply to 2-3 threads at the same day requesting: Free discount or Free sample.
If I see 2 Comments asking 2 different eBooks for a discount I see it as a flag and I prefer to save my time and not DM a discount to the requester.

Other ideas to spot them are welcome.

It must be faster to just DM the guy instead of lookin up if he posts on another thread too, it is just a cut and past, takes 1.5 seconds in time. You´re way seems like a waste of time in this case.

Sending multiple DMs require :
Copy+Paste of title and description to multiple members.
I rather send 5 real then 10 fake ones unless I want to get my fat fingers in better shape

First, I want to say thank you for providing some semblance of data, even if the 50% figure still seems like a rough estimate.

Over my 14 years of internet marketing, I've had to do conversion rate optimisation (CRO) for numerous websites. Part of this means having to analyse data and make adjustments to the websites as needed.

The reason I bring this up is because you've jumped to quite the conclusion just based off of non-responsiveness from your prospects; there were questions you needed to answer before forming a conclusion.

So let's use the information you provided us in your opening post: you sent 140 messages, and 70 of those converted into users; that's 50%, as you know. Your goal is to figure out why the other 70 users haven't converted into users. In order to figure the reason 'why' out, you need to rule other possible explanations.

• Did the non-responders find a better deal elsewhere? This is a simple explanation that you need to rule out. However, since you can't check their inboxes, you can't answer this.
• Was there something about your message to them that put them off? Edit: I saw your product is relevant to Telegram, so we can just rule this out. I saw you were directing them to download via Telegram (which I sure hope isn't to your off-forum group, as this is not permitted. I've tasked our moderation team with looking into this). Personally, if a seller directs me to their Telegram or Discord, I'm not going to respond, either.
• Have the non-responders left the forum? BHW isn't for everyone, and they could've left the forum.
• Is there something else you may not have considered as a possibility? The questions above are just based off of what I know about the forum. There could be another explanation I haven't thought of. This is why it's important to continue collecting data, this way you can find the most likely reason why the other 70 users did not convert.

There are other approaches you can take to rule out variables, even ones you haven't considered, but this one is just one example of how to approach the problem.

You have the right idea to avoid potential spammers, but it's also important to consider whether or not you're avoiding real customers. Consider the behaviour of your target consumer, re-review the data you have, and make your adjustments.

If you do suspect a spammer of posting in your thread, report their message so that our team can look into it. If you feel a sales thread is being heavily spammer, submit one report asking our team to look into, or open a support ticket using support.blackhatworld.com.
