OMG my pagerank is now a 3

This is very very exciting, I just randomly checked my page rank out of curiosity, went from 0-3, just made 7 months today. Now that I've gained some authority, time to step it up again. Shooting for Pr of 5 by the fall.

Did you check your site when google did upgrade and give worthy sites their pagerank?or is it that you're given your own own.

Concentrate your efforts on search engine rankings instead of PR. Remember high search rankings pay the bills not PR.
 
google's PR update came this week, a few of my sites went down, a few went up! overall i'm pretty much happy :)
 
Mine went from 0 to a 4 :) But as somone said, let's concentrate on search engine rankings :)

hehe yes I know...I was just shocked...went from a 0-3. Dont worry not stopping what i'm currently doing, just gonna step it up some more.
 
One of my sites also went from PR 0 til PR 3 this week.

How often do their make updates to the PR's ?
 
One of mine hit 5 and all went up. Not really an upgrade just an update. G purposely doesn't update PR often

I've got lots of sites on PR 5 too (I think a lot of us here do), but I've never seen it jump from 0 to 5 from one day to another...
 
Think they update every 4-5 months maybe? Remember that's only public update I think though, real pagerank change all the time , we just don't know about it.

I think it's a good indication that whatever link building efforts you are doing, they are working, so it should motivate you more. But it doesn't mean anything more than that!
As everyone else says, it's all about the SERPS.

i get PR 4 for a site that i register it only 2 months ago :D
but when i checked it in g**gle with info:site.com
i didn`t get any info about the site
and some people told me that is f**k rank :o
 
matt cutts posted a video recently all about pagerank and google. good stuff. 3 min video and informative.
 
i had a good day today as well, the site i started as my personal site is sitting at #1 right now for a couple niche keywords, only a weeks worth of white hat work as well :)
 
Thank you. I'm continuing what I'm doing, but now working on a new strategy to improve on my previous plan
