actually it is supposed to have a phone app you can download and it works on AT&T's network. Of course now AT&T is complaining about iPhones on their network and are talking about ending their exclusive deal with the iphone. But, unless you wanted to be on speakerphone could you imagine holding that up to your ear :)
 
Well, like most apple products, it seems overpriced for what it is. I would imagine since its that portable, and you use your hands to touch/enter stuff, it will get dropped WAY more than other stuff. So you figure maybe it last a year, prob less.

haha yep - go figure. They want to build the network to the minimal amount possible and then have no one use it so its max profit for them. If you make a device that can actually work and use the bandwidth, they don't want that. They want your $40 bucks a month for NOT accessing the internet, NOT watching video. Just put the phone in your desk drawer and pay the bill dammit!
