omg a real noob question about theme on WP

i set up a new blog and i cant find where to upload theme, in tutorial vids this is a page in right corner with upload option, but at me its seems mising, do you know whats problem ?

Connect true ftp in youre hosting and you will find a folder there themes if i remember carectlly.

If you are using ftp clien(i.e Filzilla..) upload your theme to theme under content folder ..you will find better and more explanation about wp installation in youtube..

go to yoursite.com/wp-admin/theme-install.php
It has to be in a zip
if you ftp it just upload the folder, not the zip

If the op can't install a theme in Wp it's pointless talking about ftp.
Go in your admin panel, select appearance from your left hand side menu > theme >install new theme,>
Browse to where your theme is saved > upload and activate.
Make sure it's in a .zip file not a .rar.

thats the problem in appirence>themes, there is no instal theme only manage themes options

Are you self hosted or hosted on someone else's domain?

self hosted on wp blog onyl, do i need hosting for adding my thmes?

Get an easy ftp program like Filezilla. Upload your theme into the WP Content/WP Theme folder and then in your internet browser, go into your wp-admin section page of your blog, click on the appearance section and choose Themes. You should see the default theme and also the new theme you just added via FTP. Activate the new theme.
