Hello!

My name is Richard. 2 months ago I dediced that I would challenge myself over a period of 3 years. During these 3 years I will try to go from a normal 9to5 office working guy to become to becoming economic independent and only live from passive income. I am documenting this quest trough my own blog.

What do you think about a challenge like this? Is it something you would like to engage in also? Is it possible for anybody to reach economic independence if they are really dedicated to the task over a long time?

Hey Richard! Will you document your journey here on BHW? If so, start a journey thread!

I think your goal is very do-able as I've connected with people making way over the average salary in their country - per day. How much would you need to make to call yourself economic independent in your current situation? You live in Stockholm, so do I, and the apartments here are pricey. I would like to know what you define as economic independent.

I voted for yes.

You can reach economic independence within 3 years, as long as you choose to become an professional in something.
Rather than getting "all around" knowledge. But you will have to work, and work you ass off every day.

Passive income is a unicorn! People talk about it, and pretend they've seen one. But it's bullshit.
