Old Pay Per Click Sites?

Some of the early mainstream PPC platforms like Overture (later Yahoo) and Bing Ads shaped how online advertising works today.

For the credit-based systems you’re talking about — the ones where you viewed ads/videos to earn clicks or traffic — many of those older sites like Vagex or HitLeap have either shut down or aren’t active the way they used to be.

Most legitimate PPC platforms stopped supporting “incentivized traffic,” so these sites faded out over time.

Most of the old PPC/credit-exchange platforms still exist in some form, but they don’t perform like they used to. Because of stricter advertising policies and lower payouts, these types of sites aren’t really worthwhile anymore, and most have shifted toward very limited micro-task models.

What you’re describing falls more under PTC sites and traffic exchange networks, not traditional PPC platforms like Overture or Bing Ads.

Sites like Vagex, NeoBux, and similar “watch ads for credits” models were popular years ago, but most either shut down or became low-quality due to bot abuse and advertiser distrust.

Some traffic exchange and microtask platforms still exist today, but they’re generally used for testing or low-value traffic rather than anything serious, and many advertisers avoid them due to ToS and conversion issues.

If you mean the old-school PPC networks people used years ago, some of the classics were Google AdWords (now Google Ads), Bing Ads (now Microsoft Advertising), Yahoo Search Marketing, 7Search, and Bidvertiser. Back then it was easier to arbitrage traffic because competition and compliance were lighter, but today margins are tighter and tracking/optimization matter way more than just cheap clicks.

Yes, a few still exist but most are low quality and barely pay anything. You can try sites like TrafficMonsoon clones or EasyHits4U, but don’t expect much it’s mostly pennies and slow earnings.

Yeah, those types of sites still exist, but they’re not as popular as they used to be. Most of the newer marketers moved to other traffic methods, so PTC and link-exchange platforms don’t get talked about as much anymore.

Some older ones like Ebesucher are still running, but the traffic is mostly from other users in the exchange. They can still be useful if someone just wants quick views or to test something, though.
