Hey guys! \o/
So I am moving to a Tourist Island because I am tired and I need to relax much more in my life. I do make almost all of my revenue in selling t-shirts online but lately I've been thinking of doing the old "Review Booster Method" (I can't remember what it's actually called
).
So this method or whatnot is nothing new. It's been around for a good while but there is for SURE very much potential still, as with almost anything...!
1. Go to Google Maps and look for "Restaurants" at Tourist Island main tourist locations
2. Find Restaurants with 3.8 STARS or LESS on Google Maps. In tourist locations a 3.8 STAR vs a 4.4 STAR Restaurant is a HUGE difference. 4.4 STARS show class as opposed to 3.8 STARS (and BELOW) which are "normal" but really, nothing special in the eyes of the consumer! Remember they are on holiday and they want luxury - doesn't matter where they are from. They want that little extra!
3. Now, go to the 3.8 STARS Restaurand(s) and meet with the Owner(s)
4. Show them Google Maps and show how some Restaurants (like theirs) only show up on the map if you zoom in to street view! Explain how because of this they will miss out on a lot of potential customers as Tourists usually don't know the area and will most likely listen to others opinions in the matter - like the reviews on Google Maps!
5. Make a deal. You can set your price here however you want. If it's a restaurant with a location in the middle of all the tourists, you can be sure they make $$$$$ each month so the price can be pretty damn good. I'd say anything between $250-$500 startup fee (because you need to fix their ratings or whatnot the first month so it's a little bit more expensive than managing a rating already under control, right?
)... and then proceed to take $200-$350/month until they don't want your service anymore.
6. Grab some Google Accounts (aged) and write your own reviews from Proxies. Or pay microworkers that speak good english to review the restaurants. Keep the restaurant(s) at a 4.2 stars or above and you'll probably keep the $$$ coming every month! After you've actually gotten the ranking up you can upsell other stuff they might need from you. Maybe some sort of Upgrade Package for just a $100 more / month...! I have a lot of ideas here but Imma keep them to myself.
Now, I know this will work (for me), I just want to know if there is anything I should think about? Is this illegal in any way shape or form? I am that guy that can do anything I set my mind to and I've really been gravitating towards this for the last year or so. Would it be a better idea to just bring a bunch of business cards, asking customers for good reviews? Or should I just fiddle a little with the google reviews myself? Whatcha thinkin? Let me know your experiences in this!
Cheers
