Old Domain (PBN) as Money Site

I have a couple of questions if you can help me out, I'll appreciate it.

I have a domain that I bought (niche domain, not dropped from 2002) that I wanted to use it as a PBN. I set it up with content a year ago but forgot about it. The domain has 150 RDs from reputable sources.

However I still don't have a money site, so instead of creating a new site I thought of maybe creating a new article on that PBN as a money site and use other PBNs to link to it, the site is in the same niche anyways.

My questions are:

1. Is it normal that the article does not rank anywhere or not at the top 100 for the term, but the domain does rank for the previous terms. Is that normal?

2. Can I start linking the newer PBNs to the article on the PBN Money Site or do I need to add other links?

You better not do it, tons of threads on BHW explaining such things.

Mind giving me a link, I've been searching for such threads and didn't find anything. The site is not expired and wasn't used a PBN before btw.

You clearly said in OP, "creating a new article on that PBN as a money site" and now you are saying it was not a PBN site? If the domain was not used as PBN to link other sites, you can build a money site on it without any issue.

Well I called it a PBN site since that's how I set it up, to be initially used a PBN, however it was never linked from it. Thanks for the advice

Create the PBN site as a mini money sites. There's a lot of clear feedback around the concept of PBN's need to rank for their OWN traffic terms. Google's algo is clever enough at least to be able to put a negative ranking factor in place if a site has links from 200 strong domains links wise, but those actual sites rank for fuck all.

Build out the site and let it rank for it's own terms, it'll make it a much stronger site when you eventually use it.

You just thought to use it as PBN, but you haven't used it as PBN. In that case, you can start using that domain as a money site
