I have bought an old expired domain with 100+ backlinks. It has been 2 weeks now to add the domain to GSC. It is not showing any backlinks in the Links section.

1- Is there a way to speed up the process of showing the backlinks in GSC?
2- If I use a premium indexer to ping all the backlinks, would it help to show the backlinks in GSC?
3- If backlinks are not showing up in GSC, how does Google see the domain? With many backlinks or no backlinks?

There's no guaranteed way to speed up the process of backlinks appearing in GSC, but you can try submitting your sitemap and using the URL Inspection tool. Using a premium indexer help Google discover the links faster. Google’s view of your domain's backlinks isn't solely dependent on GSC; it likely knows about more links and factors them into its assessment. Even if GSC doesn't show the backlinks yet, Google may still be accounting for them in its evaluation of your site.

Yes, you can and should use an indexer on all the links. But 2 weeks is too short to expect all the links to appear. From my experience, if it's been long the domain has been offline, then it may take long for Google to start showing the links on GSC. But attempting indexing them is a great way to get them recrawled and possibly reindexed once again.

So, I recommend you do that.

By the way, not all links would ever be visible on GSC even when they're indexed.

@v_kumar36 I feel you on the wait—it can be pretty annoying. Unfortunately, there’s no quick fix to get backlinks to show up in GSC faster. Sometimes it just takes a bit of time for Google to catch up. You might want to make sure your site is active and updated regularly, and submitting a sitemap can sometimes help speed things along.

Using a premium indexer to ping your backlinks could give them a push, but it’s not a guaranteed solution. Google might still see and value those backlinks even if they’re not showing up in GSC yet. Just keep doing what you’re doing, and be patient. SEO can be a bit of a waiting game, but things should start showing up eventually. Hang in there!
