Hi.

Been browsing this forum as a guest for good time now... and like it.

I'm pretty old (pre-internet). Yes there was a time.
A strong background in direct sales & NLP/Hypnosis which are all face-face.

Really interested in the possibilities of translating these skills into the digital age.

Is it possible? Can an old dog learn new tricks?

Doesn't matter how long you've been alive. As long as you have the drive to change your life and persevere with every obstacle that will inevitably come your way, you're good to go ;)

You can start with a blog, you post your expertise knowledge everyday, try to outreach other experts in your niche through their email or site contact page, do it several months, and get adsense ADs or maybe lucky with your customers, its very doable, trust yourself.

BTW, welcome on board old mate.

If you've got a pulse and a willingness to learn, then yes old timer, you'll learn loads on here.

Advantage with us oldies is we have life experience too ;)

Great to have another old timer here. Yeah your skills will give you a major advantage over amateur internet-only marketers. I guess you just have to get around to know the tools, the slang and the people so stick around and best of luck on your journey.

Welcome to BHW. I believe anyone can learn new tricks. What varies is actually time. All the best for your new start :-)

Maybe we should have an old timers thread, so many young ones on here

Thanks for the warm welcome & positive sentiments. I like the vibe on this forum. :)

I'm working on a decent project just now, but a little stuck on IM front... Once I've figured out where to post the questions in a relevant spot...

Welcome! If you know a lot about NLP maybe you could make an information product about that and sell it? Good luck and enjoy the journey. I was also born before the internet age. :)
