Old .BIZ good for SERP?

I have the opportunity to buy a 2 year old .BIZ domain with keyword in domain and a handful of backlinks. All the domains for that keyword are in use.

Is it hard to rank well with a .BIZ?

yup, .biz is harder to reach 1st page ... i can reach 1st page but can't reach 1st position.

I use 2 domain with same name ... one is .net and the other .biz ... the result : .net is lot more easy to reach 1st page, it even rank #1.
 
I was never able to rank a .biz in the top 10 and finally gave up on them.
 
Same here, they are a lot harder to rank imo (compared to com, net and org), I wouldn't recommend it. I have never seen a .biz in the top 10 search results of anything..ever.. o_0
