Okay BHW whats up with this warning!

So, i accidentally posted in the wrong subforum, then i got hit with a warning, and now there are some pesky limitations on my account, seriously!!?? It happens to the best of us judging by how many banned users i see on the forum. But seriously, those infraction points do seem a bit much for an innocent mistake. Mods have a tough gig, i get it. but maybe a gentle nudge in the right direction would be more effective than the warning hammer.

The warning you were given lasted only 24 hours and has expired already. Please read What is an infraction and what do infraction points mean? | BlackHatWorld - "An infraction does not mean that you are any less of a member on this forum, but rather a reminder that the BHW rules are there to help you use the forum in line with our terms of use."
The warning you received was a gentle nudge in the right direction, rather than a warning hammer.
