Ok To Have Multiple Paypal Legit Accounts, Same Pc?

I'm considering opening another paypal account on my wife's name, to split the income into two bank accounts for tax reasons.

I'd like to hear some opinions. Would paypal be ok since they are both legit accounts? Or Is this a bad move?

No, not at all, I have 2 paypal accounts and sometimes I login from the same IP multiple times a day and never had any problem. I think as long as they are legit you can have as many as you want.
 
One more thing, my paypal accounts are on the same name so opening another one on your wife's name should be the last thing that you have to worry about.
 
It should be alright, but I wouldn't take the risk of Paypal permanently closing both accounts because of this.
 
I have multiple paypal accounts that I access from the same PC/IP. The thing is that the details used in those accounts are of someone real and if there is a case where Paypal calls you up, the real person will answer all the questions. So if you are going to open the account with your wife's details, don't you worry.
 
I've got my own paypal account and my girl does as well (we live together and have for years). I very frequently send money back and forth from one account to the other using the same PC (without changing the IP address or clearing cookies). I've been doing this for years with these same two accounts.

We're not married, so the last names aren't the same either. Each account is verified using a bank account (my bank account for my PP account and her bank account for her PP account). Each account also has a separate phone number and email address. In other words, each account is 100% legitimate and fully verified with the only thing that is shared being the address.

Her and I each also have our own PP Business Debit cards.

You've got nothing to worry about.
 
I have 3 paypal accounts which is personal business and my relative so i didnt get any problem as i fully verified them.

Same here, I use 2 on the same computer and transfer money between the 2. The key is to have both verified and then it should be fine.
 
You should create a virtual machine and make 2nd paypal account on that VM. You should use 2 different IPs for 2 Paypal accounts. They will not link your Paypal accounts with that way. ( Of course you can use 2 paypal accounts in the same PC, but when one of them get limited, they will shut down the other too ).
 
Nobody a part from pp knows their risk assessment algo. Why even TAKING the risk, even if it was -supposedly- minimal? Create independent multiple private profiles with firefox (-p option) and disable anything that could leave global cookies like flash/silverlight etc or better create a few virtual machines and operate each individual paypal account STRICTLY from a specific profile/vm. Pay attention to the time zone if using vms, possibly set them on different areas. Buy a few cheap linux vpns and setup a socks tunnel, each assigned to a specific firefox/vm. And there you'll have a solid setup that shows up as different machines. Again, why taking a risk when the steps to take are so trivial to cover yer ass? ;)
 
I agree that its not a problem. I have 2 fully verified accounts accounts. One as my personal one as for my company. On both with the same name. No problem yet and i dont see what whould be the problem in the future. If both are legit, then you dont risk anything.

I have two personal accounts as well and I never encountered anything wrong :D
 
We also have 2 different paypal logged in with the same ip and never had problems. I think you'll encounter problems if you send a lot of money from one paypal to other with the same ip.
 
If you are providing legit information while registering you should be ok with two accounts. Avoid login from the same IP to the two accounts as much as possible especially if one of them is limited for any reason.
 
You can open them but You must follow this

Use different browsers for both account like firefox,chrome (due to flash cookies)
Never ever make any transaction between them (you'll get limited in no time)

If you follow this you'll never have any issue
 
1 premier and a business account allowed but account should differ in name and email :)
 
It's absolutely correct decision and there is no point for not doing it unless you don't trust paypal.
 
I use 2 accounts from the same pc, and same browser, no problems.
 
I believe if your secondary account is going to be 100% legin - you don't have to worry about anythiing really.
Even if it gets limited you'll solve it through callcenter in no time. Been there, done that.
