Hey guys, So i'm no newbie to IM, in the past I made good money from ppc and basic ezine article marketing (really works if you just do it right) Anyway, I got banned from PPC and decided to take a new approach, I have a new product that I just released, I made 40 youtube videos and put them all on a blog populated by PLR articles. I have software that can build about 100 to 300 profile backlinks a day, so far i've just been pointing them towards my blog website for my main keywords. I'm thinking about buying scrapebox or maybe xrumer (seems like a lot of cash for me a seo newbie to spend. I just read though that the smart thing to do is blast your backlink to something like an article and then have that point towards your website. Is that what linkwheels are about? Or should I just buy scrapebot and use it to also build links to my blog. I have money to spend (I work 40 hours a week, have no debt, and am well off at the moment) but I only have about 4 months before I leave the country. So I kind of want to start a good seo system for my brother to take over. Thanks, sorry for the long post.
The best thing to do will be create many web 2.0 properties like around 20 which have a link pointing to your website and then build a lot of profile backlinks to them . What this does is it helps you dominate the complete first page because all those web 2.0 properties will have a lot of authority and it wont hurt if you build a lot of backlinks to them. Thats how you are supposed to do it. If I were you I wouldn be interlinking the web 2.0 properties ( i.e linkwheeling them ). Hope this helped Thanks
OK that completely makes sense, is this because web 2.0 properties don't count as a "new domain" and don't face sandbox? So what I should do is something like this: backlinks ---> weebley (or web 2.0) ---> my blog ----> my squeeze page? I already have 40 youtube videos created around my blog, can I use those as my web 2.0 page? I don't see why not.. Here's hoping I can get some good traffic in by the end of next month. Just making sure i'm figuring this stuff out right, people have told me SEO is way complicated in the past, but so far it doesn't look too difficult.
If you decided to try and make linkwheels make sure they are not perfectly interlinked or else you will just run into trouble. Make everything as random and natural looking as possible. Good luck.
you cant rely on link wheels alone to rank for competitive keywords. link diversity is key. But for easy terms you should be ok. Test Test test
I've been working with linkwheel type structures for a while now, in fact the term "linkwheel" has fallen out of fashion as the wheel structure is largely ineffective now. We'll just call them mini-nets. First thing you need to know is that Google has cottoned on to mini-nets in the SEO community. It's a tactic they know about and they are watching for signs of anything unusual. I'm engaged in huge long term high quality mini-nets at the moment. I've written a long thread with full details, but in summary: - All sites use original or very well spun readable content - All sites have at least 4 articles - Money links are not added for at least 1 month - All sites receive high PR comment spam, supplemented by automated profile spam and scrapebox/xrumer. - All the sites in the networks are created over a long period and have substantially different names and article titles. Slip under the radar, build up the assets, and slowly interlink them in a naturalized way. Use the highest authority blog platforms like wordpress.com - you have suggested weebly but I find it to be largely unsuccessful. In short, the "linkwheel" isn't just something you can blast out anymore without thinking. They take time and effort, but done right, they are really powerful in boosting serps.
Ahh yes, suzieq knows the way so quit being so lazy or just use a little common sense next time and search for it.
