How many clients will i close this week? I am doing online marketing for local businesses here are my goals.

Close 5 Clients this week that pay $300-1000 monthly for seo or web design.

Starting....ummm now..

Who thinks i achieve this?

Only going to do cold calling

Lets go, will post my daily stats tonight on the

# of calls
# of nos
# of yes appointments
# of Fuk U bitch Dies

What kinda of market u focussing on. The problem i faced is most people are busy when i call them, either working, in meeting or bust with colleagues.

What is the best time to call them? Good luck and let us know how it goes.

everything is achievable if you have right action plan and a bit of luck..

What are you saying to them?

also focusing on businesses that are not HUGE i.e. no customer service, where 90% i get the owner, the 2 hardest parts are. getting to the owner, and getting them to listen.........

Yeah I generally agree with OP on this, I will call anytime of the day. However, if you are have trouble reaching someone in a particular industry then call early & late.

For example, when I was cold calling I used to call from 7:00-8:30/9:00 A.M. or so and from 5:30/6:00-7:00 PM for whatever the time zone they are in. This way you dont catch them working, in meeting, with clients, ect..

I never did it in the early morning as much as I should have, but I frequently did it from 6-7 pm and would get more appointments then I would calling for 5-6 hours in a day, sometimes 8.
In that one hour I would clean up with appointment's while everyone else went running out of the office at 5 pm. So I cut my cold calling time to almost half and was more effective.

Ultimately you have to just see what works best for you.

subscribed.

I do realize your trying to do Offline, but posting locally on Craigslist isn't such a bad idea either.

I did a lot of cold calling this summer, and it is a %$^^. Selling face 2 face is a lot easier. People have a lot harder time being rude or dismissing you in person. I would give door 2 door sales a shot. D2D will give you the opportunity to really show them what you can do, and if you have something like clearwire internet you can show them your results. You'll be shocked at how many small businessmen actually understand IM--- I've found that service industry business owners are well versed on IM.
